Diatomite

In 2001 the "Nor-Kharberd Diatomite" Open Joint-Stock Company was privatized with a subsequent restructuring into a Closed Joint-Stock Company in 2002. During the years of 2003-2004 production facilities were refurbished and re-equipped. Consequently, in August 2004 diatomite filter powder production was launched and the ISO 9001:2015 quality control standard was implemented.

The Company has its own mine in Jradzor, which is located at the altitude of 1950 meters above sea level and only 25 km away from the biblical mountain of Ararat. In fact, well preserved remains (skeletons) of ancient sea creatures in ore deposits prove the theory of the Great Flood.
